Growing to understand how our body protects us

It was a sunny day.
Toti was allowed to sit in today.
A little less active, perhaps he too felt the heat.
As we head out to the walk way, I felt his body temperature higher than usual.
I was worried and thought to myself that he might have got heat stroke
As we were waiting for our transport, something wet touched my skin
I was in the nick of time to move away from what seemed to be dripping down his bag
Horrified, dismayed for words, Toti, who never urinated when he is outside,  committed a harmless crime.

Which to me was absurd at first, then i checked his temperature and found it normal just after his act of letting go
I quickly came to realise animals have the most untampered way of de-stressing, disposing energies, and allowing fluids to help bring the body back to equilibrium.
The fact, they shake or vibrate all the time, actually helps the body not to store negative energies.
Their fight and flight system are also in tune.
When they are under stress, like after being chased by a predator, they will immediately shake themselves for a while, not deliberately, but allowing their excess body energies to be disposed. Therefore, not storing or keeping the negative energies in their bodies.
We, however have curtailed ourselves to loose this natural way of desensitizing our defensive or protective system after each stressful moment.
Taking in and storing our negative energies usually.

How do they know that letting go helps in their equilibrium?

I believe this is something intuitive, our body has his own intelligence how to get well,  that is to shake away excess energy after a stressful event.
If we but let him do their job without thinking too much, and listen to our body and to what it wants us to do in cooperating, in letting things happen naturally.
Judging, doubting, impatience, can be our stumbling blocks for wholeness and organic healing to take place.
